Twain hit it spot on with this assessment of what taking yourself out of your little corner of the world does, creates space around and between your judgments. (Always good thing to hold those tentatively!) But it also wreaks havoc for a few days on your body! The jet lag is excruciating this time 'round. As I write this it's been about 36 hours since I've had sleep. I'm longing for the comfort of my cabin bed, yet I must stay awake for another 5 hours at least!
